Having served in the Idaho Army National Guard for an extensive period, I have had the privilege of witnessing the dedication and resilience of our service members. My time here has been enriched by the opportunity to engage with students at BYU-Idaho, where I enjoy sharing insights about military life and the various paths available within the Guard. It is inspiring to see young individuals explore their potential and consider how their education can align with a fulfilling military career. The camaraderie and leadership skills developed in the Guard not only enhance their academic pursuits but also prepare them for future challenges, making it a rewarding experience for both the students and myself.
